What is holistic wellness?
It’s looking at your wellness as a whole. Your physical wellness, emotional wellness, mental wellness, and spiritual wellness are not separate from each other. In fact, they are completely intertwined. If one of these areas of wellness is affected, it affects the rest (That’s why anxiety causes physical symptoms, etc).
Your body is always communicating to you. There’s so much noise and distraction in life we have to learn to tune out so that we can listen to our bodies. We also need the knowledge to give our bodies what they’re asking for.
Life is all about balance - balancing schedules, finances, eating healthy, to do lists, making time to exercise, etc. And there’s no one formula that works for everyone. We are all unique and need to approach balance in a way that serves each of us. Sometimes it can be hard to step outside yourself and see your own blindspots.

My approach to holistic wellness coaching is to help you become healthier in ways that are specific, practical, and sustainable for YOU. Diet fads are just that - fads, not to mention confusing. No counting calories, macros, weighing in or measuring. You’ll learn how to listen to yourself and discern what is best for you and become empowered in your own short-term and long-term wellness. Together we will work on nutrition, self-care, sleep hygiene, movement, stress management, and more. If weight loss or gain is part of your goal, we can look at ways to accomplish that in a healthy way while practicing body positivity. Over the course of 12 weeks, we will go through all of these components of health, building sustainable habits along the way with support from me!

Human Design is a robust tool that affirms who you are and can help reveal what you subconsciously know about yourself. Once you really know yourself, you can make more aligned decisions for your life and develop better relationships. About me
Hi! I’m Amanda and I’m a Holistic Wellness Coach certified through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and have been a student of Human Design. My curiosity about health and wellness started at a young age and slowly turned into a love and practice of mine. I ended up facing health challenges that also made me question the care we get and how we can learn to better care for ourselves. All of these things led me to study with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, which was more life-changing than I had even anticipated it would be. The overarching messages I want to get across are that we can heal from a great deal of things, wellness is not a one-size fits all, and we have a lot more power over our own wellness than we are led to believe. I’m very passionate about others finding this empowerment!
Similarly, I believe getting to deeply know and understand yourself is a huge part of wellness. I love and find value in the Zodiac, the Enneagram, etc. but Human Design has been the most impactful for me. I believe it gives more specific insights to who you are that can help guide you to make the best decisions to be most aligned with yourself. It’s been incredibly affirming for me, helping me to have more acceptance and grace for myself as well as guidance to help me move forward in confidence.
I created Nurture Culture because of my passion for wellness empowerment and helping others be in tune with themselves. Nothing is more important nor fulfilling to me than sharing this with others. I also firmly believe that wellness is for everyone, and so I wanted to create this to be accessible for ALL :)
